Double glazing can make a big difference to comfort levels in your home.
We can replace your old single-glazed windows with double-glazed units using your existing wooden or aluminum frames. Retrofit part of your home—typically the coldest side—or upgrade your entire home with double glazing to significantly improve comfort levels.
What is Double Glazing?
Double glazing consists of two panes of glass separated by a spacer, creating an insulating air or gas-filled gap between them. This gap reduces heat transfer, keeping warm air inside during winter and blocking excess heat in summer. The addition of Low-E (low-emissivity) glass enhances insulation by reflecting heat while allowing natural light to pass through. This minimises heat loss, reduces condensation, and helps with noise reduction, making your home more comfortable and energy-efficient year-round.

Benefits of Double Glazing
Investing in double glazed windows can improve your comfort, save you money on energy bills, and enhance the value as well as security of your home. Double glazing offers multiple advantages. Enhancing your home’s comfort, security, and energy efficiency as well as provides long-term financial and environmental benefits.
Noise
The additional layer of glass helps to reduce noise from outside, creating a quieter and more peaceful indoor environment.
Enhanced Security
Tougher to break than single glazed windows, providing an added layer of security to your home.
Reduced Condensation
Reduce condensation build-up on the inside of windows, which can certainly help prevent mould and dampness issues.
UV Light
Double glazing can certainly reduce the amount of ultraviolet (UV) light entering your home. This helps protect furniture, carpets, and other interior decorations from fading as well as reduce damage caused by UV exposure.
